Nurse Voices collects short, honest perspectives from registered nurses across specialties, shifts and career stages. We publish nurses' own words about what the work is really like: the hard nights, the patient you still think about, the decision to leave a unit or stay in the profession, the moment you knew you could lead.
We don't polish these into press releases. We edit lightly for length and clarity, and we never put words in anyone's mouth.
How to share your perspective
Pick a prompt below, or tell us about something we haven't asked.
Write 50–200 words. A few honest sentences beat a perfect essay.
Email it to info@RNSignal.com with the subject line "Nurse Voices." Include:
How you'd like to be credited (first name, initials, or anonymous)
Your specialty and state
Your years in nursing (optional)
We'll reply before anything is published. You'll see the final edited version and give written approval first.
Consent and anonymity
Nothing is published without your written OK on the final wording.
You choose your credit line: first name, initials, or fully anonymous ("RN, ICU, Midwest").
Never include patient names, identifiable details, or your employer's confidential information. We'll remove anything that could identify a patient.
You can ask us to take your quote down at any time by emailing info@RNSignal.com.
We won't use your quote in advertising or pair it with sponsored content.
Sharing your perspective is personal expression. Think about your employer's social media and media policies before submitting. RNSignal can't give legal or employment advice.
